Education and Specialty
Doctor Ruíz received her medical diploma from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama in 1995. In 2001, attended a course in Feminine and Reconstructive Urology at the University of California at Los Angeles.  In 2002, completed a residence in Urology at the Doctor Arnulfo Arias Madrid Metropolitan Hospital Complex of the Caja del Seguro Social.  In 2003, finished a sub specialization in Urologic Laparoscopy at the Henri Mondor Hospital at the School of Medicine Saint Antoine of the Pierre et Marie Curie University in Paris, France.  In 2005, attended a course on Laparoscopic Nephrectomy for the Renal Donor at the University of California. 

Major Positions Held
Doctor Ruiz is currently an Assistant Urology Professor at the Latina University in Panama.

Doctor Ruíz has attended the Congress of the European Association of Urology in Vienna, Austria and the French Congress of Urology in Paris, France.
